What an amazing way to finish 2016!
El Corte Inglés São Silvestre Lisboa 2016 is already a huge mark in my journey.
A little nervous at the beginning, but as soon as I crossed the starting line it all went away. That was it, the moment for what I’ve been working so hard for the past three months.
It felt even more amazing than what I thought. The weather was amazing (although I would rather have more shades), the mood was amazing and the support was the best! My brother and my boyfriend ran all the way next to me. Well, I actually started running because of them, so they really had to do this with me.
And almost at the finish line, there were my parents, my boyfriend’s mother and a friend cheering for us (well, sorry guys, it was mostly for me). And I really needed that cheering, because we still had to run a whole km uphill. I struggled a lot, I complained a lot, but they didn’t let me stop running. And I thank them for that. I’m sure that if I had stopped I wouldn’t have this feeling.
Fortunately, my leg didn’t hurt much the whole race, so I was able to enjoy it much more.
I did it! I ran my first 10 km! I can’t even describe how proud I am. And I finished it with a big smile on my face! I finished in 01:08:15. Better than what I’ve anticipated.

And with this vibe I wish you all an Amazing New Year. May 2017 be the year you realize than anything is possible if you truly want it. And keep coming to take a glimpse in new journeys that will come.

Mas que forma incrível de terminar 2016!
El Corte Inglés São Silvestre Lisboa 2016 é já um grande marco na minha jornada.
Um pouco nervosa no início, mas mal cruzei a linha de partida, tudo se foi. Era isto, o momento para o qual treinei tanto durante os últimos três meses.
E foi ainda mais espectacular do que pensava. O tempo estava incrível (apesar de preferir mais sombras), o ambiente estava incrível e o apoio foi o melhor! O meu irmão e o meu namorado acompanharam-me do início ao fim. Bom, tendo em conta que comecei a correr por causa deles, tinham mesmo de o fazer.
E muito perto da meta, estavam os meus pais, a mãe do meu namorado e um amigo a torcer por nós (desculpem, rapazes, mas foi mais por mim). E precisei mesmo desse apoio, porque ainda tínhamos uma grande subida de 1 km. Sofri bastante, protestei bastante, mas eles não me deixaram parar. E agradeço-lhes por isso. De certeza que se tivesse parado, não me sentiria assim.
Felizmente, a minha perna não me doeu muito durante toda a corrida, então pude apreciá-la muito mais.
Consegui! Corri os meus primeiros 10km! Não consigo descrever o quão orgulhosa estou. E terminei com um grande sorriso na cara! Se ainda achas que não consegues, vê só o que conquistei!
Estou feliz!
E nesta vibe desejo a todos um Espectacular Ano Novo. Que 2017 seja o ano em que te apercebas que tudo é possível se realmente o quiseres. E continua a voltar para teres um vislumbre das novas jornadas que aí virão.

Sem dúvida. Precisei de um empurrão para começar e de muito esforço para chegar até aqui. Seria uma pena parar agora. Portanto, o próximo passo é mesmos esse, melhorar. E gostaria muito de conseguir correr por prazer. Caso não consiga, lá terá de ser por outros objectivos. Pelo menos, nas corridas oficiais o prazer encontra-se, pois torna-se contagiante.
Dei uma vista de olhos no vosso projecto e já registei a minha primeira corrida. Partilhá-lo-ei mal tenha oportunidade.
